With a MS in Health Promotion and a BA in Psychology, Maya's educational background provides her with with knowledge in marketing research, branding, and human thought patterns. While exploring her post educational workforce, Maya realized that her niche was utilizing the application of this knowledge in regards to the world of communications, copywriting/copyediting, and promotional strategies, which are more suitable for her future goals.
Maya is known for her strength in content writing, editing, copywriting, marketing, and customer service skills, and she excels in design implementation, conflict resolution, database management, and customer satisfaction. Aside from her multiple collegiate-leadership roles, she has also served in leadership roles on national marketing and research campaigns where she was recognized for her ability to produce record results working with large-scale operations.
More recently, Maya was a consultant for several businesses in marketing development, website design, strategic and targeted advertising campaigns, photography, and increasing employee morale. In addition to her work commitments, Maya is also the Vice Chairman for a non-profit housing cooperative. Her other interests include: dance-walking, yoga, sunflowers, painting, bumblebees, carpentry, gardening, kitty cats, and her awesome best friend Brad.
